Terms of Use
Conditions governing the use of HookTap.
1. Scope
These Terms of Use govern the use of the HookTap application and related services. The operator is Tim Krisch, address as stated in the imprint. HookTap is currently operated as a sole proprietorship.
2. Description of Service
HookTap is a webhook notification service. The Service receives HTTP webhooks and delivers notifications to supported devices. HookTap does not replace professional monitoring infrastructure and does not guarantee continuous availability.
3. Plans and Payments
HookTap offers a free plan as well as paid options (Pro subscription and Lifetime license). Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled via the respective payment provider (e.g., Apple App Store). "Lifetime" refers to the lifetime of the product, not a perpetual guarantee.
4. User Responsibilities
Users are solely responsible for the content of their webhooks and the lawful processing of transmitted data. The Service must not be used for unlawful, abusive, or disruptive purposes. The operator reserves the right to suspend access in case of violations.
5. Liability
The Service is provided "as available". To the extent permitted by law, liability for missed webhook deliveries, data loss, lost profits, or indirect damages is excluded. For paid users, liability is limited to the amount paid within the preceding 12 months. Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.
6. Final Provisions
German law applies. Mandatory consumer protection provisions remain unaffected. The operator reserves the right to transfer the Service to a company (e.g., Proofio LLC) in the future.
